Wanjie Taichu Volume One Is Online

I spent some time integrating the long fantasy novel Wanjie Taichu into the Astro site. The manuscript and table of contents for Volume One, Rise From Waste, are already complete in the project. To keep the site aligned with the WeChat account, only the first ten chapters are currently open for online reading. The novel pages use their own serial-reading layout, separate from the blog essay list.

The following book introduction and volume preface match the novel page. The hero image is the same as the cover on the Wanjie Taichu novel page.

Cover

The cover is a site guide image with fantasy imagery: the protagonist’s temperament, the glow of the Taichu Pearl, an ancient tomb, and the peaks of Xuantian. It does not include title lettering; the page layout handles the title. The older vector/script cover has been replaced. The manuscript and outline remain in the repository under books/wanjie-taichu.

Full Book Introduction

Su Chen was originally a modern archaeology PhD with unusual talent. In a strange ancient tomb deep in the Qinling Mountains, he touches a jade pearl that belongs to no known historical sequence. When white light swallows his consciousness, he wakes up in Xuantian Continent.

His soul has entered the body of another boy with the same name: a discarded collateral descendant of the Su family, physically weak and about to be sent to the mines, reduced to the lowest kind of “waste.”

In that desperate situation, the pearl does not disappear. It sinks into his sea of consciousness and becomes the Taichu Pearl. It can deduce the origin of all things, stir the remaining laws of Taichu, and open a secret realm that can be cultivated and expanded.

From body tempering to spiritual awakening and higher realms beyond, Su Chen borrows this momentum to break through family oppression, sect conflicts, empires, and ancient ruins. The story focuses on satisfying progress and face-slapping moments, but also keeps room for warmth, loyalty, and justice worth protecting.

As his path moves beyond the continent toward star fields and countless worlds, he slowly pieces together a buried truth: in ancient times, there was once a unified Taichu Era, later shattered by the power of the Tianyuan Abyss. Xuantian Continent and the countless worlds are only drifting fragments in the void. Under the shadow of the Tianyuan cult, the true game points toward rebuilding Taichu. The pearl in his possession has never been just an opportunity; it is also a choice staked on his life.

The whole book has six volumes, moving from a frontier town to the nine heavenly star fields. The rhythm is built around fantasy progression, with occasional warmth and a heroic ending. It has a single romantic pairing, Ling Shuang’er. The manuscript and outline are under books/wanjie-taichu. Chapters after Chapter 10 will be opened on the site in sync with future finalized releases.

Volume Preface: Volume One, Rise From Waste

In the depths of the tomb passage, a speck of light waits for him. He thinks it is the signature of an unknown civilization, but it becomes the beginning of another life.
Xuantian has wind: wind over inn smoke and mine dust. A nameless boy clenches his fingers, and an old-world pearl beats quietly in his sea of consciousness, like a heartbeat, like a calamity, and like a name not yet written.
The name of waste can be torn from the mud. The road of rising begins with the first step after the first breath.

Reading entry: Novel homepage -> Wanjie Taichu -> Chapter 001.

When Volume Two, Storms In The Sect, is finished, I will post another update. If you prefer to follow the Git manuscript, use the manuscript version as the reference.
